Miss Stephanie & Vietnam
Hello students! This is Miss Stephanie. I want to tell you more about my favourite place in the world.
If you’ve watched Campus TV you’ll know my favourite place in the world is Vietnam. I’ve been on holiday there twice already and I’d love to visit again!
The first time I went to Vietnam it was Christmas of 2012 and I went with a big group of friends. We stayed in Ho Chi Minh City, which is in the South of Vietnam. The first thing I noticed was that there are not many cars in Vietnam so everyone drives around on scooters. The roads are always busy and noisy. You need to be careful when you cross the road!

The second time I visited Vietnam was April of 2015. I went with my housemate. This time I visited Hanoi, which is in the North of Vietnam. It is also the capital city.
You should visit Hanoi because there are a lot of things to do. The city is very interesting and the people are very friendly. This is the cathedral next to our hotel. It is very beautiful.

I also went on a trip to Halong Bay, which is one of the “natural wonders of the world”. I saw the mountains in the sea. It was amazing! I stayed on a boat for two days. There was a big thunderstorm so it was very exciting.

The other thing I really love about Vietnam is the great food. I had a lot of beef soup (pho) and vegetables.

Vietnamese coffee is also very famous. I love coffee so I visited the special coffee shops and had lots of cups!
Vietnam is a great place to visit, and it only takes around one hour on the aeroplane to get there from Hong Kong. I think you should go!
