What is your favourite place to go on vacation? Is it Korea? Japan? Tai Wan?
I think sometimes people have been here in Hong Kong for long enough to forget what a wonderful place it actually is! Five million people from all over the world come visit Hong Kong every year! Think of how nice it would be to spend a Saturday visiting the landmarks in Hong Kong! If someone asks you to tell him or her the most beautiful place in Hong Kong, what would you say to him or her?
One time I was passing by the Hong Kong Space Museum and I found this wonderful place to hang out. It is next to a Chinese restaurant called Serenade. If you go there in the evening, you can witness the nicest view of Victoria Harbour . Sometimes I would rather get a subway sandwich and eat there. Maybe there will be some street performance playing music at the background too! This will make my day!
Many of my friends like shopping at a place in Mongkok called the Ladies Market. This place has a very local atmosphere but they do have a lot of cheap souvenirs and accessories. Beyond the booths you can just easily find a place to eat. Occasionally, there will be some delicious street foods too!
