Interview Tips for Primary 6

Primary 6 students, are you excited to go to secondary school? Maybe you'll be having interviews soon, or you've already had one. This post will give you some good interview tips to prepare!

Tip 1: Be confident and make eye contact with your interviewer. Give them a smile and try to relax!

Tip 2: Sell yourself!

Not like in a shop haha, but you need to sell yourself to make the secondary school want you to be their student. This means you need to tell them about all the good things you've done in primary school, any duties or responsibilities you've had and why you think you'd be a good student at their school.

Tip 3:

Be interesting!

No-one wants to hear a boring answer. Try to tell the interviewer some interesting things about your time in primary school, what you've learned, what you want to do in your new school. Then they will see that you are an interested student who is looking forward to the next step in education.

Good luck, and remember to do your best! We are always proud of you here at DCFWMS!

Love,

Miss Stephanie
