Dear students,
How was your summer holiday? Are you looking forward to going back to school? I am!
September is my favourite month. Why? Because I can meet the new Primary 1 students, and see all my school friends again!
Every year you change to a new class. There might be new students in your class you haven't talked to before.
When you get older too, there are lots of times in life when you need to make friends with new people (like at secondary school, university, joining a club or getting a job) so it is a good skill to learn from a young age.
Here are my top tips for getting to know new friends.
1. Be polite and kind.
2. Ask questions about their life, what they like and how they feel.
3. Let others join in when you talk and play games.
